Sheepy Memorial Hall

The maximum capacity is 100 people.  This is a legal limit laid down by the Fire Brigade and the Insurers, and you must not exceed it.

 

You should supply a sufficient number of Stewards to keep order, particularly with a children event.

 

Do not park outside the Hall, please use the car park provided.

 

The sale of alcohol is only permitted if you have obtained a license from Hinckley and Bosworth Borough Council a minimum of 10 days prior to the event.  (www.hinckley-bosworth.gov.uk 01455 238141)

 

There is cutlery, crockery and glasses in the kitchen, if you use them please put them in the dishwasher at the end of your event. Instructions how to operate the machine are on the work surface, and the tablets are under the sink, right hand side. We will empty the machine the following day. There is also a hob, oven, microwave and fridge, please ensure they are cleaned and emptied.

 

We have a 5 star food hygiene rating for our kitchen because we insist on customers using the dishwasher and not washing dishes by hand in the sink.  The small sink is for hand washing, the large sink is for food preparation only. Please help us maintain this rating.

 

Toilets: there is a stock of toilet tissue in the kitchen cupboard if (in the unlikely event) you should run out. Please do not flush anything other than toilet tissue down the loo, the drain will not cope and a bill will be incurred. All nappies and other sanitary wear should be put in the bin.  Hand towels are changed daily and should not be used for any other purpose than drying your hands in the toilet room.

 

Please leave the Hall tidy, take all your belongings with you, as there is likely to be another event the next day, and inform us of any damage or issues in the comments book.  Ensure all heating and lighting is switched off.

 

Please put the key back in the key safe (by the post box) on the wall by the front door and spin the combination around to keep it safe

 

There is a user guide to the facilities in the kitchen, if you have any queries just have a look in there, hopefully you should find the answer. 

 

Should you need to cancel the event we are sorry but payment is not refundable due to our commitment to your booking we may have turned other users away.
